I have been using a variety of Bio-Lite products for years. I've been using the camp stove since inception. Which, not so coincidentally, can charge your new headlamp. I am an avid camping/hiker/kayak-er. I also work as a nurse in remote places where I need a directional light that doesn't require my hands to adjust. Just got this headlamp and already have noticed the differences. I have several headlamp ranging from $30 up to nearly $100. With the $50 price point you would think it would sit right in the middle of the pack. It does not. I am bald so I don't have the benefit of hair to cushion anything I put on. I trialed this by wearing it around the house for 6 or so hours. While, of course, I knew i was wearing something it was VERY comfortable compared to other headlamps regardless of price point. Lightweight and soft. The light is quite bright but can be dimmed if needed. I will be interested to see how long the rechargeable battery lasts and if/when it ever quits I will update the review. The stuff-sack is a neat idea although I don't know how useful compared to the other lighting options Bio-lite has such as the nano grid line. That said if your worried about weight/space issues it could be a great option. Over-all this is right up there with all the Bio-Lite products I have and continue to use. Can't say enough about this company and tell anyone who camps to check these guys out first when it comes to lighting/power/cooking needs!

Great Headlamp

This is an incredible headlamp. Light is more than needed. The most attractive feature is the weight and design with no bounce when tilted down. I actually forgot I had it on.

Surgery

We have the privilege to work with talented FBR medics in a war zone in Burma. The medics offer relief to oppressed people through remote medical outreach. Headlamps are critical to folks working in remote parts of the jungle.
We put my new Headlamp 330 to the test doing exams and surgery with temperatures reaching 35°C. The first patient lost his eye in a land-mine accident and needed reconstruction of his torn eyelid so it could accept an artificial eye. The absorbent cloth band kept sweat from dripping on the patient and the tilted bright light afforded excellent view for surgeon and assistant. The battery life was excellent and USB charging is easily available even in the war zone. I'm ordering several more lamps.
For rainy season, do you think you could make a long narrow "Ziplock-Like" bag to waterproof the Headlamp 330 so we could swim rivers even at night?

Light where and when I need it

I’m a student and this light allows me to study and draw wherever the lighting is poor. I have other headlamps, but I love the balance, dimmablity, and different angles I can set. It is a useful, wonderfully thought out product.

Awesome Headlamp!

I’ve been using this little guy for about 2-weeks, and absolutly love it! As a photographer, I use the super bright white light at night getting to locations, the red light is great BUT I wish that the red light was dimmable same as the white light. I still rated it as a 5-star but REALLY wish the Red could be dimmed. The balance between the headlamp and battery make it super comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I would highly recommend this headlamp!

Great activity light

Overall I’m very pleased with this headlamp. Comfortable and weight is balanced. Bright and easy operation.
Couple little things I wish were different. Option to use standard battery, exposed coil wiring and ease of light tilt feature.
I would highly recommend for running/activity light where theres no concern for recharging ability.

Light works well, very bright, well balanced. Wish the switch and switching procedure was a bit easier to use. Must take gloves off to access switch, but overall a great light.
