I like that it looks neater, and the screen is a good size. My old monitor pales in comparison. Setup was easy. Performance is great, no more lags when I run a lot of different windows.
This is a great AIO, except for one extremely annoying attribute. It has a fan for the CPU that always runs. At low CPU usage (<5%), it makes a low level groaning noise. Slightly annoying but acceptable. As the CPU usage goes up, so does the fan noise. Once above 20%, the noise is incredibly loud and unacceptable. Fortunately, most of the time, CPU usage is low with just an occasional burst of high CPU usage and noise. On occasion, though, some background program will go CPU crazy non-stop (Windows Explorer is a the worst culprit) and the fan noise is unbearable. In those situations the program must be stopped and restarted. As a former HP engineer, I cannot believe HP released this product. It is an obvious design flaw that surely was apparent during product development and certainly is experienced by the customer base, just read the reviews. I would be delighted if HP offered to buy this thing back from me. I got my wife a Pavilion AIO and it is wonderful in all regards. I would get one of those.
