I bought this because a computer friend recommended I buy an All in One. I love this computer and the keyboard is very easy to use. I have had HP laptops for years and am a typist so the location of the keys on the keyboard is important to me. This one is just fantastic and I love the big monitor. A lot less eye strain for me.
I just got my 27 inch all in one computer with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. I’m a little disappointed as I am seeing some lag time for uploads that is not related to my Wi-Fi. I expected it to be really quick. As you know, this is the area that tends to lag over time as your PC ages.
Solid hardware, good software integration, fast shipping and VERY easy migration of data & settings from old machine to new.
If I had to change anything, it would have more reliable USB ports (and more of them), as well as an HDMI IN port. While I have work arounds for this (USB hub & HDMI/USB adapter) with the number of high speed USB devices people use, it could use more ports or ports that are better able to manage USB hub throughput (my hub tends to disconnect from my external drives, and I've had to re-seat my Logitech unified wireless adapter repeatedly to get my mouse to stop freezing up.
My new "baby" arrived in a compact box with handles which was a plus since it had to be carried up stairs to its new home. It was very easy to set up. I would have given it 5 stars but I am disappointed with the lack of a wireless keyboard and mouse. There were several updates that needed to be installed.
I'm rating this a one star because the 1920x1080 resolution on the 27" monitor is way too low. Text on websites and in Microsoft Word appears blurry and fuzzy. I did my research and tried to optimize the settings for sharper images, but I finally concluded that it's the resolution of the monitor. It's OK for watching videos from a distance, but if you are doing any up-close word processing or doing a lot of reading, you will need at least a 2560x1440 resolution monitor. My eyes were sore after looking at this screen for a few hours.
So far, so good. Bought this PC to upgrade the 8-year old Lenovo we had. Needless to say, this one's much faster, sleeker, bigger, lighter, and a good value for the price. Setup was very easy and, with OneDrive, transferring our data from the Lenovo was basically a hands-off process.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it is a good All-in-One PC. Display is clean. Camera is a bit odd, but workable. The PC has very weak ventilation system (fan). Time to time, the pc's fan works really hard to pump out hot air built in the PC. It is loud. I end up buying a fan blowing cold air into the PC. My next issue is regarding my speaker. Even though I have a bluetooth speaker, I plug in auto cable directly to the speaker from the PC. When the PC gets turned off, the speaker makes very very loud static sound. I had to turn power off of the speaker.
