Glass knob exploded while making coffee

I need my glass knob replaced. It exploded this morning while I was reaching for the pot to pour a cup of coffee. Burner was on lowest level coffee had been done for over 15 minutes and burner was just warm.

Cord is too short

This is the worst coffee percolator pot that I have ever bought the cord is too short coffee pot tips over have to unplug it every time I want to pour a cup of coffee I wish I could return it to the store however I've had it 3 months and I'm ready to trash it it's dangerous the cord is too short I read online they shortened the cord because they're afraid of it becoming entangled Well it's worse now because you get burnt when the coffee pot sips over unless you unplug it every time don't buy it you won't be satisfied

When your electric coffee maker dies…

Living here in the cold regions of the North East we have many power outages during the winter so having this 12 cup percolator is a must to use on on gas or wood burning stove (in our garage). Waking up to no power in the morning and not being able to make coffee has been solved with the purchase of this percolator.
