I have had two of these. The first one started leaking at a seam months after purchase and the company replaced the whole item. I use it on a gas range. The glass knob (mine was white) came off often while moving the pot, I broke one when it bounced to the floor. I had an extra from the damaged unit and that knob did not stay secure either. Many people have complained about the glass knob. This has not been a good value.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

12-Cup Coffee Percolator is the best one I have ever owned. Spring loaded basket, keeps a tight seal and you get coffee with no grit.

Love the coffee maker, do have a PROBLEM though. The black ring below the knob has a piece out. I have tried for 2 days to contact the company to no avail! You offer warranty but, no way to access so not impressed by that!

I use this percolator often and do love the way it’s constructed. Fresh perked coffee is one of the best things about my day.
The only problem I’ve ever had with this pot is with the little plastic ring that sits between the glass and the cover (sorry, I don’t know the proper name). It always breaks.

Love the smell and taste

Love the smell and taste of fresh brewed coffee! This pot is perfect, just the right size. We had a smaller one, but just never seem make to have coffee for a second cup. Saw this coffee pot would make up to 12 cups. Always been a Farberware customer, will continue to be!
