Having now owning 4 traeger grills I was amazed that in Marathon Florida they had not heard of it. I have several charter captain friends there and invited them over for a Traeger experience. I made smoked wings. Cooked some bison burgers and also smoked some King mackerel and cobia. When I showed them the grill they were amazed at the ease and convenience of cooking on a Traeger. I am convinced I could make a shoe taste good on one. I think that they will be new customers to Traeger soon.

First time using Apple so went through the usual procedure. Cleaned grill with vac, put pellets in colander and shook out any loose dust. Smoked ribs using the 3-2-1 method. all went well until the end of the 2. Foil was covered with ash so did not finish on the Traeger. After the grill cooled I started to clean out, there was at least a quarter inch of ash in bottom of the grill and the fire box was almost full. I tried a second time with the same results. Will never buy Traeger apple pellets again.

Hi Timothy
We're sorry to see that you received a bad bag of pellets, The ash around it looks normal but you should not be seeing those kind of clumps in it. Please reach out to us either via social media or by phone at 1-800-TRAEGER so we can look into this issue.

Used this to make country style pork ribs in our Traeger Pro 22. Smells so great and the ribs were fabulous!

First time using Apple pellets. I have used oak and hickory multiple times and never had any issue. I clean my Traeger after every use. I started to see smoke coming out of my hopper so I shut off the Traeger waited for it to cool down and checked the fire pot. The fire pot was full with a baseball sized hunk of burnt pellets melted together the clump was hard as a rock. I cleaned the grill emptied the hopper and used another bag of Traeger apple pellets and the same thing happened. What a mess.
