Great sturdy TV stand but some QC/precision issues

Overall I like the piece; it looks great and seems very sturdy. However, there were several quality control and precision issues:
1) Two of the screws were labeled "C", while one should have been "I". I figured it out based on the size and instruction photos, so this wasn't a big deal.
2) Some pieces did not line up perfectly, leaving a little bit of a gap/overhang. Mainly on the back, so this was also not a deal-breaker.
3) A few screws did split the wood. I carefully used a hand screwdriver; no power tools.
4) A few of the dowel pegs did not align with the holes. Two of them were lined up perfectly, and the third peg would sit halfway outside of the pre-drilled hole it was supposed to align with. I resorted to whittling down half the peg to get it to fit in. This worked out ok; hopefully not affecting the structural integrity.

Looks great, but top panel cracked

Beautiful and holds my 65 in TV very well. The wood is pine and very soft. Drawers are fragile, if not used often they will hold up just fine. A minor nick on front top piece. Will have to put stain to fix. Assembly takes some time and instructions are a little confusing. Do not use power tools to assemble as it will damage the soft wood.
I would recommend this to a friend!
