I am a school teacher have been using my school issued Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga for 2 years and I love it. The keypad is quiet, backlit and easy to use and the screen has great resolution. I have taught school for the last 2 years remotely and found the camera, microphone and speaker were more than adequate for my needs. The battery is strong and holds a charge for a minimum of 4 hours. The computer is light and very durable. It has an HDMI port and 2 USB ports that I use daily. I plan to retire from teaching this year so I bought a personal Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 6th generation laptop. It performs even better than my school issued laptop. If you re looking for a flexible all purpose laptop for personal use, you cant go wrong with this computer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lenovo got this one right. I still have an X1 Carbon (6th Gen) laptop that is going strong, but the small trackpad, tinny speakers, 16:9 aspect ration, and the horrible battery life made it better for use on the desk. The X1 Yoga has changed all that! This machine with Windows 11 Professional is zippy, long lasting on a charge, and the touchscreen works flawlessly. The intel evo processors are defintely going to give Apple a run for their money.
I've owned most Yogas since #1, this isn't my fave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A ram socket, or more built in ram, would be nice. The included RAM is always pretty full, along with a 10-20GB page file; fortunate that I replaced the SSD with a WD-SN850 for PCIE4 peak performance, so it works satisfactorily with heavy software such as Creative Cloud. I've fixed my swap file size at 32GB (base 2 so 2^15 bytes, 33.5ish in base-10). Also, things like two 2280 M-key SSD ports would be nice, as it appears that the only B-keyed 2242 SSDs I can find are of the SATA3 type, and generally from brands I've had crap experiences with. B-keyed m.2 devices can support 2xPCIE lanes, no? I suppose since my primary concern is partial redundancy if ever I have a problem syncing to my ~60TB server back home. Maybe I ought to just get and LTE (or 5G?) Card & some prepaid service for on the go. Fortunately my house is all wifi 6'd and 2.5Gbps wired up so no service drops at home, and my city has hotspots for subscribers to the dominant ISP like, everywhere. Unlimited net at home & I never use all of the un-throttled hotspot data from VZW.
The ax200/ax201 is a fantastic wifi card, range and speed are both fantastic. First *actual* gigabit wifi I've experienced.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop at a great price. I used to have a Thinkpad for work and I have greatly missed it. The fit of the keyboard to my hands is extremely comfortable and dependable. The screen is clear and touchscreen is easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent laptop overall, Just as expected. I really like the hi def screen. It is light weight but still solid. The fingerprint reader on/off button has taken a bit of getting used to but it is cleaver. The pen is useful too but was hoping it would have been more like the bigger, thicker Lenovo pens. I have been a Lenovo user for longer than I can remember. I have mainly used ThinkPad "T" models. A few years ago I changed to the Yoga X1 and this is now my second Yoga X1. This Gen 6 model features a slew of upgrades over my last Gen 3. From the bright 4K touchscreen to a faster processor and Iris Xe Graphics, to the more compact frame and WiFi 6 it is better in many ways. I recommend this to anyone looking for a 2 in 1 convertible laptop,.5 stars no doubt :)
