No more headaches!

I had those cheap light sticks and bulbs from (another website). Unfortunately, those tend to flicker whilst on camera. Protecting my community is paramount and to make sure my 0community isn't triggered by any lighting effects so I had to find an alternative.
The light strips catered perfectly! They are tailored to BE on camera. I can control the mood on the app (either my phone or mobile) and they give off a nice ambience!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than the competition

Elgato made light strips that are GREAT for the camera. The anti-flicker, brightness, and Stream Deck control are unmatched by the competition. However, I would want additional length for the the price as I was only able to get 2/3rd of the backside of a bookshelf covered to illuminate my wall. The color splash was equal to the competition, but the control was superior, especially given the multi-action potential of the software and timing light control with other actions all in one package.

Fantastic Little Light with Big Output

Overall, a solid setup that integrates will into the El Gato ecosystem. All the advertised points are accurate including the great adhesive that is used for mounting the lights.
The output of the lights when using straight color can be a little dimmer than I hoped, but if you're trying to pump out anything leaning toward white you'll be able to blind yourself if you stare directly at it.
Only gripe I have (which is more of a positive of the product) is how thick the plastic is when trying to curve the strip into a different direction. It takes a bit of a patience and if you're not careful you could gently rip the cover over the LEDs, but you'll make it there with enough effort.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not the smartest 'smart' light strip on the block.

First, let me say that I love Elgato products. I have dual Key Light Airs, a Stream Deck XL, Stream Deck (for my streaming rig), a Stream Deck Mini (bedside to control my smart devices), an Elgato green screen, a multi-mount, green screen mouse pad, 4k60 Pro, CamLink 4k and this light strip.
I wanted to love this light strip, and I still might eventually, but as it is now, it's missing quite a few 'smart' features that competing products have. I'll give it this - If you are just looking for static colored light strips, this is a solid product to avoid flickering on your stream.
If, however, you want rotating colors, a chase effect, a breathing effect, or anything along those lines, this is not going to do those things; or... I should say, it will not currently.
The chase effect isn't possible most likely since the strip doesn't have individually addressable LEDs, but color cycles, breathing, etc. should be possible, though not necessarily in an ideal way.
Currently, Elgato shows off the ability to have it cycle colors using 'multi-action buttons' on a Stream Deck. This means that you're limited by both:
1) The number of entries you placed on the multi-action button (There is no looping a multi-action to do this forever)
2) A requirement that your PC to be on and actively sending the change signals over wifi to the light strip using the Stream Deck software.
Neither of these are ideal if you want a continuous cycling color change or breathing effects, and in themselves prevent a continuous effect for either of these.

Depending on the capabilities and storage capabilities of the controller, these may or may not be possible through a firmware update. If the firmware updates to allow further control, my thoughts might change, but as of now, I feel like the product just... Doesn't live up to the high expectations I have for an Elgato product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lightstrips for Logo in Iron

Could perfectly wrap them around and now use my streamdeck to control them :D

I bought these light strips a couple of months ago & I absolutely love them! The setup process was a breeze & they are very easy to work with! Adding the lights to my stream have really helped add another dimension

Best led strip ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought a few LED strips over the years. This costs more than the average LED light strip but it's worth it in my eyes. The quality is high-end, the streamdeck integration is awesome, they don't flicker on camera AND the sticky back is nice and sticky :) Recommended
