After I bought a E bike for myself, a had to purchase one for my wife. The Huffy was a great purchase It came well boxed up and was simple to assembly. My wife has been very pleased with this bike. We now can both ride our e bikes together.

Battery charging problems

Bought one about 6 months ago the rear fender had a dent in it and I charged the battery just as specified ride it once and put the battery on charge the second time and it has never charged correctly again.... The battery light blinks on the handle bars... Never returned it because to much trouble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a minute to figure out how to assemble but once I had someone else help me and had the right tools it was a breeze. This is an amazing bike that is so smooth and easy to ride. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve never had an electric bike but it does not disappoint especially when it comes to hills. I use to dread pedaling uphill but now with this bike I don’t stress when I see the hills. The charge on this bike is also great. I plug it in after every other ride or so and I haven’t had any issues with it staying charged. The gears on the bike are super easy to use and understand as well. This bike is definitely an investment but I know it’s one that will get lots of use and create fun memories with the family. If you are looking for a bike to take on joy rides this is the one.

Biked 40 miles for the Five Boro Bike Tour in NYC on this bike and it was a pretty great experience. Heads up though, you need to assemble it yourself and they don't send you any of the tools. Also, the instructions were a bit too generic and I ended up having to use the ad videos for the bike to figure out how to place certain things. The pedal assist works great though, and the battery seemed pretty durable (I manually pedaled most of the 40 miles so it didn't even go down to half).
Other impressions: this is a bigger bike than I'm used to and the wingspan for the handles can become a bit unpleasant. The saddle hurt after a while, but it was 40 miles with no cushion so it's probably an unfair comparison.
Considering what I paid for it, I am more than pleasantly surprised, I'm absolutely ecstatic!

Such Fun To Ride!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just want to say that this bike is exceptional for riding uphill. I live on a hill and when I was using a regular old bike it was getting harder and harder to even try to bike upwards anymore. After getting the bike together with some assembly required with the right tools, it was smooth riding from there. I love how the assist pedaling works. I no longer have to exert a lot of energy just to get anywhere by bike. If I go riding with my younger friends they are amazed on how much faster I can go now. I love riding this in my suburban area. There is a lot of ease and comfort going on when I bike. It makes me want to get outside and get more exercise because it doesn't stop you from getting more of that either. The tires are sturdy and I was able to get on the bike right away without any extra adjustments. I can get more places without having to spend money on gas while driving a car. This bike has let me ride for many more miles per day than before, something which is more difficult for an older female. I would recommend the bike for any age, though. Brakes work well. Now I have to get one for my significant other to keep up with me! The bike is so fun! This is the first time I have ever used an electric bike and I love it already.

Easy breezy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new bike! Positives: This bike is really beautiful looking, and the e-function is easy to operate with three levels of speed. It rides like a normal cruiser and does not feel any heavier or clunkier for the electronic components. Negatives: one piece (rear wheel cover) arrived with a dent which happened in shipping. It's unfortunate, but wasn't enough of a bother to make me want to exchange it. I can't comment on assembly as I did not put it together myself. Overall, I'm so pleased with this great looking bike!
