I added a throttle control for mine. There is simply no reason to not have a throttle on an electric bike, which dropped a 5 star review to a 4 star. The throttle was easy to add, the control board already supports it. The disc brakes while very effective, are very noisy, they will be a future "upgrade" since the screech they make is annoying, but I knew this was an issue before I bought the bike.
