So far so good

This dispenser works as advertised and it's great. But, past experience with other type dispensers has shown in the long term they will begin to drip and clog so we'll see. Also, it works very well with dish soap with the higher viscosity but not so well with the more watery soap like the sample that came with it as it splatters some what.

I’m surprised no one has talked about how loud this pump is. Just doesn’t strike me as usual for simple human products. It’s super sleek and helpful so I think we’ll keep but it’s a fair warning.

Defective?

The motor on this is too weak to expel a decent amount of hand soap. I don’t know if it’s defective or just not strong enough. I’m using simplehuman hand soap so it should work better. I am still using a hand sensor pump from two years ago and this new one is much lighter and cheaply made than the original. I definitely won’t order any more of these.

I am disappointed in the new rechargeable model I just purchased. I don't like that it does not have the adjustable flow rate buttons as I really see much difference in the flow dependent upon where I put my hand. I also don't like that I can't see how much soap is in the container due to no viewing window. I like that it is rechargeable as I am constantly washing my hands in the kitchen. I just found out that the battery is not replaceable in the future. What? I have to buy a new unit because the rechargeable battery died? That's nuts...what an unnecessary waste of material going into our landfills. This is terrible!

It is beautiful and very functional. Unfortunately it always drips once after using it. It's not really a problem since the drip goes right into the kitchen sink, but I didn't expect the pump to have this ongoing issue.
