Love this step can for my kitchen

This step can is so nice in my kitchen and is a great size for a family of 4 with 2 dogs. We have a lot of garbage. It goes very well with my new stainless steel appliances. It is very hard to find a good substantial pail that is a good size and suitable for home kitchen without spending a fortune. I bought the liners as well, although I think you can use those bought at a grocery store. Very happy....and I like the liners so that I may continue to purchase them as well.

Works with standard 13 gal bags

Would be a better product if it could fit flush against the wall. The hinge where the lid pivots prevents the can from sitting flush against the wall and seems to defeat the purpose of a semi-round can.

I ❤️ this trash can.
It fits perfectly in my small condo.
The SimpleHuman liners seems to hold more trash than Glad bags which save a few pennies.

I want to love it

This is our third can like this. The first one broke after a year. I loved it so much I bought another one and vowed to be mindful of the tabs that broke on the first on which appeared to just be wear that occured from lifting the lid to take out the full trash bag. One year after the second purchase, the second one broke. Same place. Luckily I had registered the warranty and was given a new one as a replacement. Problem is, the warranty is only good from original date of purchase. So, if this one breaks again within warranty I will turn it in for replacement again. If it breaks outside of the warranty coverage I will be looking for a new trash can to love. Very poor construction for the tabs to be mere plastic when the test of the can is structured so well.

Although it comes with a hefty price tag, this is the best garbage can for us! Keeps our dog out of the trash and our kids can easily open/close it.
