Love the larger size compared to standard trash cans. I just ordered bags. They do fit better and not that expensive. Step can works perfect!

The liner cover edge tears full bags

Well, near as I can tell I’m using this can correctly, and every time I remove a full trash bag from the bin it hangs on the liner rim and I end up with a torn bag of trash. Ain’t no way to avoid it. If the liner rim would open up in tandem with the lid (as my cheap old plastic can allowed) this wouldn’t be an issue and the nice lookin’ can would be a winner. Unfortunately it doesn’t, and it isn’t. Thoughts? Feedback? Any obscure trash can operational details I’m missing? Anyway, it’s only a trash can…but an expensive one. I expected it to be better than it is I suppose.
