Great Trash Can

I was buying this one to replace an exact same model. We love this model. However, when this new arrived damaged. I went to simplehuman to create a return and it was fairly easy. I am waiting for the credit to place another order for the same model. Fingers it will arrive safely and undamaged.

I got the simple human sensor can with voice control single compartment 58L and less than a week the lid stops opening. Completed the warranty form, submitted and still have not received the new replacement item, it’s been over a month

Replacement Can

I like the can but the voice control doesn't work. I tried unplugging the adapter and left it unplugged for five minutes. I plugged it back in but the voice control still doesn't work. Is there something else I can try?
