This is a nice trash can. And I became a member and was able to buy the all-black can. This is a replacement for us because my son ruined the other can. I love being able to tell it to open from a distance so I can toss something in. And I learned you can tell it to stay open or even close. It’s lot of money for a trash can, but we really like it.

We love it, I had the old can with the foot pedal to open, but it was slowly not opening all the way, so we decided to get the sensor can and it’s taking a little bit of time getting use to. Thanks a lot

I'm not one to spend a lot on items that are not really necessary but let tell you this is the best trash can I could have chosen to splurge on, it is so great because 1. I love not touching anything with dirty hands to throw stuff away, I can tell the can to open or say stay open and it does 2. Just the size of this can alone is great, it holds enough that you aren't taking the trash out constantly. 3. The odorsorb pods work wonderfully. I highly recommend this trash can.

Everything I want in a trash can!

The ease of access, the voice controls, and the storage of the trash bags in the internal compartment make this a gotta have. Also, the fact that you can have it on battery power or wired power makes this enticing to have anywhere in your house.

I am a loyal customer. Been purchasing Simple Human since 2010 from BBB. My houses are loaded with Simple Human merchandise so that should explain my 5 star rating. Also I have never had to use the warranty.

After 5 years, I finally decided to replace my 58L stainless stainless sensor can with the 58L matte black version. This 'smart can' continues to remain the best looking, feature rich garbage can on the market.
