Great idea but needs some work

For the price I expected this to work perfectly. The can sometimes does not open or close via voice command. The lid also opens at random times when we’re not in the kitchen.

We have given you five stars, but this is our third purchase of the same voice activated simple human trashcan. The previous three were great. But when we ordered a replacement, you sent us a defective one it took a month to get you to replace it. Shame on you

at first, i was skeptical about this item if I should purchase or not, first will it do the work and second the price. After reading the reviews and convincing my husband :) i purchased it. I love how it came with adapter so i can just plug it and not use batteries (batteries are optional/alternative if you wish). It’s super quiet when closing and opening of can. The great thing is it’s voice activated, such a game-changer! Loving our new trash can. I can it’s worth it.

The can is a little pricey, but I did get a free small garbage for the bathroom.It works over regular noise in the kitchen.The storage in the back for the liner is perfect.Yes it does open if you walk pass.Yes it’s hold a lot more than a standard kitchen garbage can.It’s very quiet for now hope it stays that way.

The only kitchen can for me...

I admit it: I'm spoiled now. The convenience, ease, and simplicity of this can for my kitchen is something I can't do without. Yes, it's on the expensive side. And this is our second can purchase (after 1 1/2 years of constant use multiple times daily, the motor went a bit wonky so I retired the first can). But for me, is it worth the purchase price? That's a resounding "yes!"
