So far so good, it is easy to access, it's quiet, it listens, it responds well, its wide and big enough for a busy kitchen, it almost feels like it's a part of the family. Very happy with my purchase.

This is the second simple human trash can I’ve had. It works great. I just wish it was easier to change the trash bag. My old can had an inner bucket I could remove to easily change the bag.

This is our second sensor can. The first one was purchased years ago, and we liked it, but the new one is much better. It's quieter and works seamlessly. Great improvement.

It’s The Voice Activation For Me

I like the width of the trash can. I love the voice activation to open, however, it doesn’t always comply. Gave it a 4 because first one I ordered came bent and had to send me. Don’t know the that I would purchase again for the price, if I didn’t have one.

The cost is worth it!

I've looked at SH trash cans for years and thought they were just too expensive. We now have a new puppy (German Shepard) that gets into everything. Our old stand by flip top plastic trash just wasn't doing it anymore. We decided to try this out. WOW!!! The voice command had us goofing around with how far away we could be and still have it open. Perfect for all the food we cook, peel, and prep because it's hands free and no step function. As every SH product finishes are high end and super easy to keep looking wonderful. The best part is this trash took up roughly the same footprint as our old one but holds a lot more garbage.

I love this thing! I bought this because we needed a larger capacity can. Strangely, the voice commands didn’t work immediately, but I forgot to follow up, and several days later I randomly said “open the trash can” in conversation and it worked! The sensor/voice definitely isn’t necessary but it is really nice and it helps my very independent toddler be more independent.
