Almost perfect

Love our new sensor can. It works so well. It is almost perfect, except for the bag change process. When you open the lid shielding the bag, the top lid also opens up, and often gets triggered by the band motion sensor as you try to start this whole process. They need to add a command like “bag change” that ensures everything stays closed so you aren’t dodging movement as you change the bag.

Update to my original Simplehuman rectangle sensor garbage can

I was so sad when my original garbage can had to be tossed, so happy when I received my new one. Great size, can be put easily out of the way in any space. In a pinch, with a little finess, a regular trash bag can be used. I have a few sensor items from Simplehuman and can not say enough that they are worth every penny you pay.

The 58L trash can is a welcome change. It is so much more convenient with the of the auto open sensor system.
The actual unit is more compact while still allowing for a generous receptacle size.
We love simple human products and are in the process of ordering the food trash bin and a pulse pump soap dispenser with the geranium hand soap.
Additionally the customer service unit his amazing when responding to customer requests.
Bravo to the Simple Human Organization.

It’s too sensitive. It opens just by walking by it. It uses a lot of batteries that I don’t expect will last long. I don’t have access to an outlet.
