Giving it four stars, only because the voice control is a little glitchy at times: but overall, it’s been great and i haven’t any had problems that lasted longer than a minute or two.

Convenient & sleek!

We love everything about our simple human trash cans except this one small detail... it’ll open up randomly without anyone walking by or saying the word open. Anyone else have this issue? Sometimes it’ll open up to 7 times an hour on its own.... creeps me out honestly. But other than that, it’s been useful and convenient. Looks great in our kitchen too!

I like the size of this sensor can and the fact it stores the bags. The bag easily slides over the edges, but remains hidden & secure under the lid. The features are great and it fits nicely under our island. It holds a lot of trash without being an eyesore!

Pretty Cool Tech

Mostly pleased with this bin, love the hands free sensor so much. But as for design, it's very bulky/ wide shelf thing on the back - guess that's the battery pack and garbage bag dispenser? But that makes it quite unwieldy. Also the sensor is very sensitive and sometimes opens completely on its own when no one is even near it, and sometimes not at all when I'm trying to open it, haha. Seems like the tech (and sleek design) needs a little more work, but otherwise a really nice well-made bin, and we're happy with it.

i took a break from the simple human brand when we moved and went thru 2 or 3 cans since but now we went back to simple human and i cant ever go back to basic cans. the only CON is that now every garbage can i go to im saying "open can" thinking that the can will open. lol

Really love it but the sensor has been acting up a little. A couple of times it wasn't working and we had to unplug it for a little bit to get the sensor working again, every now and then it also closes right away not giving you a chance to put stuff in the garbage all the way

Voice activated trash can

Although I only have had this unit for a month, i am impressed with the build quality and how it responds to my voice commands.
The only downside is the bags are expensive.
However that said it's an awesome unit.
