Very Nice Combo of Form and Function

This can was replacing a smaller SH can that was damaged and was relinquished to the back porch barbecue area. The automatic opening feature is very cool, if not a tad creepy. It picks weird times to open on its own. Makes it interesting. The size rocks. It’s on the top end of what my wife can pull out so when I’m not home she has to make some quick mental calculation to judge capacity. Overall this device is beautiful, well built and we are sure to enjoy it for years. Only wish it had been available in the darker black brushed aluminum. Better match for our kitchen.

We had the old 55 L bin that was similar to our née 58L in may regards. We loved it. Now looking at the 58L the improvements are just tremendous. Bigger in a smaller package. Got rid of the plastic tub liner and unnecessary parts. Quieter as quiet can be. Voice activated. Easier to but thrash bags in and out. Who would have thought a thrash can would evolve so

Great Invention!

How many times have my hands been full with trash, only to put it down on the floor to open the trash can? Well not anymore! I just say “open can” and it opens for me to dump the trash!
Wish there was a smaller version for laundry room or bathrooms.
