Every kitchen needs this trashcan.

First of all, this trashcan looks quite nice. Second, the hands-off feature is so helpful when your hands are full. We use it with batteries and it works extremely well. The bag storage is handy and they are high quality. I recommend this trashcan. Good size too.

3rd Times a Charm?

I have had to replace the first two cans because the opening mechanism has broken. This 3rd can was suppose to have new technology. I do not see any difference. It has already had difficulty closing all the way. I love the feature when it works. Customer service has been helpful.

Great Trashcan / Solid Warranty

The trashcan is awesome with the automatic features as well as voice command. I am on my 3 one being the sensor malfunctioned on the first 2. I only say this as the replacement for both was super simple and no pushback for replacement.

Very Sensitive

I love the shape and capacity of the can. The motion sensor is very very sensitive so if it is in a busy path, as mine is, be prepared for it to open each time you pass. The voice activation is also sensitive. It opens sporadically as well. This can be triggered by the radio or conversation in the room. My concern with this is that it will wear out quickly. I hope not but it is a concern.

Voice activation isn’t great

If you have your can near a TV, words that don’t even remotely sound close to “open can” will open the garbage can. This will cause extreme battery drain if you’re not on the power supply.

This can holds a lot of trash, resists smudges & operates whisper quiet. The bag storage is another nice feature. Only drawback is it sometimes opens inadvertently.
