Love this trashcan!

I love this trashcan! I always get compliments on it from my guests... compliments, on a trashcan! Crazy, I know. My only issue with it is that sometimes, it does not close all the way and needs a little push down. Other than that, great product!

What this customer was experiencing with their can is not normal. It is backed by our excellent 5-year warranty though so we replaced it for them and arranged for the return of the problematic one, free-of-charge.

This can is the worst. Its never worked right since I bought it. Red/blue flashing light all the time. Can’t says I would buy this again.

The garbage can arrived in perfect condition and I am very pleased so far. I hope it lasts longer than the original I received as a gift at Xmas. Customer service is exceptional. Website no so much! Thanks for the replacement!

This trash can is solid and looks very nice in the kitchen. The voice and hand sensor function work great and with smooth action. I would definitely recommend this product

I love stuff like this, so I was very much looking forward to it and it does not disappoint. The stay open feature is great for prepping and, of course, it’s always a hit at parties. Haha

The old verses the new

This is my second Simple Human sensor trash can. I brought the first one going on three years ago at The Container Store. I like the look of the older trash can better. In my opinion it was more sleek and stylish. I didn’t realize that until the new one came. However the new sensor can is easier to remove and install bags. Also the voice open option is pretty cool. The old can stopped working properly after about two years. I used batteries with the old can. I’m going to order a cord for the old one and see if it works better so I don’t have to get rid of it and keep both cans.

I love my new simplehuman trashcan. No fingerprints, because you don't have to touch it. Voice command also.
