Your garbage will never look so good if you buy this can. The sparkling finish will dazzle you. It also understands English and if you ask it to open, stay open, or close it will follow your commands. Really!

58 litre sensor trash can

I love my voice activated trash can! I even find myself saying thank you after I tell it to open! It holds more than my previous simplehuman trash can that was foot operated which is great but still manageable for short-Senior to carry. Hope this can lasts a long time!

Hands full, no problem

We love our new SimpleHuman!. It just couldn’t be simpler. Lots more capacity than our old one, which we still use in another room, but now we have to stop throwing the junk on the old can when the lid is closed!

Meet expectations

This trash can is beautiful in person. It is nice not having to open a lid up and throw out trash. The only thing I hate is it doesn’t open sometimes when you say “open can.” It also open sometimes just by us walking by it. However, I am happy with my purchase, and will most definitely buy another one if this one fails. simplehuman makes great products by the way.

We have reached out to this customer to ensure that their can is working properly. They have informed us that the unit properly and consistently responds to the voice command. Our voice and motion sensor can is designed to open when you say "open can" or when something within 6" to 8" passes over the sensor.

Great replacement to its predecessor!

We had the previous 58L can and loved it for 9 hrs until the sensor began acting up. We replaced it with this. Wow - even better. No internal liner. Easier bag exchange. And the capacity is the same with a smaller unit. Whisper quiet. And the voice recognition for open and close is great when you have your hands full. Love it.
