Disappointing Upgrade: 2 out of 5 Trash Can"

We were loyal fans of the previous model for five years, despite its occasional quirks with lid stability and voice command functionality. However, the decision to upgrade to the newest model has left us thoroughly disappointed. While initially functional, the lid of the new model only works for about ten uses before encountering issues. The frustrating cycle of unplugging and replugging to coax it back to life has become a daily chore. Considering the hefty investment in this supposed upgrade, the persistent problems have soured our experience.

Surprised of how useful the voice command is.

This has been a fantastic trash can, it’s very sleek but hold way more trash than it seems it would. Also, there are vents in the bottom so the bag always fits in easily without an air bubble under it.
The biggest surprise of the trash can is the usefulness of the voice command to open its lid. I thought the voice command thing was just a gimmick when I bought it, but I use it all the time and it’s so useful when you’re holding two hands worth of trash and don’t want to loose your balance trying to open a can.

I love it but dents all over

The voice activated trash can is wonderful but I got it loaded with dents. I think the security of the box for the handling of this item should be stronger. Now it's a pain in the kneck to replace it. This is the fifth one we buy for us and friends. This is not the first time this happens.

When I opened the box thought it might be larger than I wanted, had it for about two weeks and love it. Nice to use the voice control when your hands are full.

So far so good. We have it plugged into the wall because we didn’t want to deal with battery options. But it works perfectly.
