I bought this product in November & haven’t had the chance to use since I’m moving. When I do finally try & use it I can’t. It gives me a red error when I use the hand motion & voice command. This trash can is too expensive to have issues within a month & become a regular trash can you have to manually open.

Large capacity, does the job

Really appreciate a hands free, large capacity trash can. I would have given a 5 star rating however the can opens sometimes when we are simply having a conversation and don’t even mention the word “open”. Also the sensor opens the can when our dog walks by it.

I love it! It holds more trash than the last simplehuman sensor can I had last time. It is so quiet. You can’t even hear it opening or closing. The only small complaint I have is it a little difficult to take the trash out and replace it because the lid that holds the bag in doesn’t stay open by itself and doesn’t open all the way. Other than that, I would highly recommend it and I hope it lasts as long as the last one which was at least 6 years.
