It’s large! Took a while to get used to it in our small kitchen, but it does hold all the dishes & kitchenware we use. I wanted it since we don’t have a dishwasher.

2014 Version Had Much Better Design

The dishrack that we had purchased in 2014 was a much better design than this one. The new one now has space for 1 more dish, but the space between each dish was reduced by ¼ inch. As a result, bowls will no longer completely stand within their space, but now lean into the next space preventing the next space from being used. The 2014 version also had a wooden top on one of the silverware bins for cutting knives to be able to be placed and firmly secured with the blade facing down. The current version does not have this to support the cutting knives. The 2014 drain design was much better. All one had to do to remove the remaining water puddles was to tilt the dishrack towards the drain. This can no longer be done with the current design because the drain is in the center.

Dish rack serves its purpose!

Dish rack serves its purpose! The only thing that makes me give this a 4 star instead of 5, is the fact that the utensil container is limited to only the inside instead of hanging on the outside and there are less spikes for plate drying.

Best dish rack I have ever owned. No longer have to worry about bacteria growing in the standing water that drops down to the tray. Very roomy and well made.

I love this dishrack. Esthetically pleasing with ergonomic features. This rack actually dries dishes faster. Large enough for a family meal worth of pots and dishes. Well done Simplehuman.

I like it better than the big one. Easier to clean. And to remove the bottom. The big one I got from simple human was getting rust. The bottom and back part which can be remove to clean was getting dull looking.

We have this updated version as well as the older version at another residence. The one this the new version lacks is the knife insert for the side area. Other than then it's perfect.
