All around mighty Vac!

I snapped up this lightweight portable Sun Joe blower/vac immediately after it was advertised. We occasionally snack while sitting in the living room. The vacuum is perfect for my wife to use on the sofa nooks and crannies for crumbs, etc. It works great for me around my garage workbench too. Super powerful. A huge step up from another old handheld vacuum we have.

Very poor suction. Pretty useless

Has very poor suction and can only pick up the lightest of shavings or sawdust if located within 1/2” from the intake tube. The only thing I will end up using is yhe battery as I have other SunJoe products. Big disappointment as most of the Sunjoe products I own work quite well.

Mighty but short term battery

Battery died after the 24”. Recharged battery , only 2 green lights charged. HAND that plug in cord charger gets. REALLY HOT. Does a nice job , if you don’t mind doing it in stages. Needs 2 nd battery sent with it and that base to charge in.

Started out great, now not and out of warranty

When I first got this thing I loved it. I realized, as you should too, that you aren't going to blow all the leaves off your acre property with this. It is advertised as a workshop blower, not a yard blower. In that respect it performs well. I bought it to blow leaves out of my garage that get blown in whenever we open the door to take the car in and out. I did this because it has no gasoline or oil fumes, so you don't have to worry about getting carbon monoxide poisoning using it inside. It is also good for a quick blow off of the back or front porch without having to get out the gas/oil mix and cranking the big blower up. My complaint is that there are two little plastic tabs that hold the blower nozzle on the front that BOTH broke off! I mean, there is no real stress on these tabs, why should they break off? So now the nozzle wants to fall off. And now also, there are two tabs that hold the battery in, and one of them broke off, so the battery does not stay in well. After 3 of 4 tabs have broken off, I can't highly recommend. It has the potential to be a great tool if they will fix these design defects, but the tab designs must be improved.

Do not buy if you want a vacuum

I bought this as a vacuum. It doesn't work as a vacuum. Nothing gets past the screen at the intake, it gets clogged, even with sawdust. No need for the bags, attachments are difficult to attach and remove, also awkward to use...very poorly designed.
