Our 24V line is ideal for light-duty work. The higher the voltage on a product, the more power you will receive and the heavier job you'll be able to tackle. With a higher voltage does come a higher price point but depending on your workload, it may be necessary. I've now moved from corded to cordless and am glad I did. I get done in much less time and less hassle. I was afraid it might not have the power but my three-piece set is perfect for the job. I get done in a fraction of the time.

Blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. The runtime of a Greenworks cordless blower battery is primarily affected by the battery's amp-hour (Ah) rating, which determines how much charge it can hold, meaning a higher Ah rating leads to longer runtime; additionally, factors like the blower's power setting, the amount of debris being moved, ambient temperature, and the battery's condition can also impact its runtime.
We have designed Greenworks product lines to have a range of batteries that can be used with the tools in that same voltage. This unit can be used with Greenworks 24v 5Ah to 24v 2Ah. The only issues you may experience using a heavier battery is the added weight to the unit which may not be as comfortable to handle as a smaller battery.
