This has a shoulder strap to help hold it while using it. It cuts the trees very easily. It's cordless so it moves anywhere you do. You can cut about a 5" tree branch easily. It's made for trimming trees, not for cutting down the whole tree. Battery lasts a very long time. Extremely happy with my purchase of this chainsaw and other Sun Joe tools.

Nice and sharp!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's the wrong time of year around here to prune trees but I was able to use the Sun Joe 24V cordless telescoping pole chainsaw to trim some already dead limbs that were bothering me when I mow.
The limbs were on a willow oak tree so fairly hard maybe 2-3 inches across and it didn't have any problem buzzing right through them. I never run it long enough to get an exact idea of how long the battery will last but it made it through the three or four limbs I cut from the tree and cutting them up shorter to carry easier.
This is a nice hefty saw and I'm glad it came with a shoulder strap because I'm not getting any younger and it just made it easier to use.

Great for small jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pole chainsaw is easy to assemble and works great for cutting smaller branches. We used the pole saw to trim branches on our black walnut tree and got a nice flush cut on branches up to five inches. The larger branches were more challenging but doable. The multi angle feature is nice for getting into tighter spaces and offers some extra control when cutting. We did notice that when the pole is extended to the maximum length the saw does lose some stability and is harder to control. Overall though, I think this is a great product for smaller trimming and clean up projects. I just wish it came with an extra battery for continuous use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last few years, a number of trees on my property acquired dead or broken branches, and the prospect of taking a ladder to each tree and work it with a manual saw was daunting. I decided to get a telescoping pole saw, and was not disappointed with Sun Joe Cordless. First off - easy to assemble. Second - it extends a lot! I am a 5’2 female, and I can operate it without much difficulty. Sure, it is not light and after some time, you feel it in your arms, but the convenience of it outweighs (pun intended!) a bit of soreness that you get out of this exercise. Battery is powerful and lasted enough for my project (make sure to charge it and it will take a few hours to a full charge). It is not as noisy as the gas chainsaws - I am sure my neighbors appreciated that. Highly recommend!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly was very simple. The chain came preinstalled on the bar so you don't have to worry about putting the chain on backwards. Adjusting the chain was quite simple. Next you have to add chain saw oil to lubricate the chain. The oil is not included, so make sure to buy some. Plug in a fully charged battery and you are ready to go. Chainsaw runs nice and smooth, is easy to use and the angle of the blade can be adjusted to get to the limbs. I definitely recommend this chainsaw.

Tough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time I used a chain saw. It was light and tall enough to cut the high up limbs on the trees. Using a battery is so much more convenient then using gas. The saw cut the branches well. The pole extends fully . For a naive homeowner this is a wonderful product.

Love the telescoping chainsaw!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the Sun Joe Cordless Telescoping Pole Chainsaw. Our fence backs up to a wooded area and it is nice to be able to trim the trees and brush without leaving the yard. We used to use a manual pole saw/trimmer, but this product cuts the time and effort down to almost nothing! It is very convenient that this product is cordless and it hold a charge for plenty of time to do a lot of trimming. We would recommend this product.
