My favorite decaf - but clogged my Keurig brewer!

I've had to start drinking decaf due to a low/no caffeine diet, and Peet's dark roast house blend has been my favorite tasting decaf I've tried so far. It has a strong, smooth taste that doesn't leave any weird aftertaste behind. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it clogged the needle and hose on my Keurig brewer. I started drinking ONLY this coffee a few months ago, one pod every morning, and after a month or so my Keurig started to act up - water would heat but would not come out. Long story short, every 2 weeks I was having to clean out the needle and hose in my Keurig because it was clogged so badly with coffee grounds that it could not 'spit out' the water after heating it. I have the very first K-10 Mini model, it's 11 years old, and have NEVER had a problem with the needle clogging, and I've used it every morning for years with all kinds of different brands of coffee.... So I knew it was THIS specific coffee pod causing the problem out of the blue, since it was the only kind I was brewing day after day. The coffee grounds in these pods are VERYYYYY fine (small/light particles) causing the needle to clog up, so just beware! I have begun tearing open these pods and putting the grounds in a reusable single filter pod, to try to decrease the amount of grounds that can fly back up into the needle when the water comes shooting in. Other than that, I love this coffee!

If you love rich flavorful coffee but must drink decaf, you just might love Peets Dark Roast like I do! I have two tall cups every day, religiously and have used it for at least five years. It’s perfect even when using a tall mug!
