Pleasantly surprised!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the package I was underwhelmed. The box that the trimmer came in was small. When I unpackaged the tool it looked and felt inexpensively made. It came in 5 pieces and I had to assemble it but I didn't have any difficulty putting it together after reading the instructions. The whole time I was thinking that this trimmer may not work out well. To my surprise, it turned out to perform really well! I was able to cut down tall grass and weeds without an issue. I was totally shocked. It is lightweight which I was searching for as I found that I could not comfortably handle some of the heavier/longer trimmers. It doesn't come with an automatic line feed and sometimes dealing with the cord can be inconvenient. The trimmer is more suited for residential property and for people who need a lighter tool. It fits my needs.

Compact and Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If, like me, you only have a small area that requires trimming upkeep, then this lightweight machine is perfect for the job. It weighs less than 4lbs and I find it very easy to use as the days of using heavy equipment in my case are long since over. I am able to navigate hard-to-reach areas with just one hand and a 10 inch-wide cut. It has a 2.8 amp motor which I find is plenty powerful enough for my needs. The trimmer is very easy to start because it only requires me to push a button and "hey presto!" I like not having to fill a grass trimmer with gas any more. I just plug it in and off I go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a good trimmer. I like it has a arm rest. It is lightweight. My arms and back did nothurt afterwards which is a first. The one thing i did not like is i have to keep respooling. It was to put together.

Easy to assemble/has good power

My husband loves having a nice, cut yard and this Sun Joe electric trimmer is so useful. It has such good power and trims with such ease. The weeds stand no chance. It seems quite sturdy yet seems lightweight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sun Joe TRJ608E Electric String Trimmer, 10-Inch, 2.8 Amp. It is just for trimming light grass areas, as I moved to anything (weeds) larger in width, thickness of cluster, the cutting cable would break. Primarily made of a hard thick type of plastic (?). Was easy to assemble, has four screws so be careful not to over turn. Light weight makes moving back & forth & carrying easy, added plus is the extension piece to rest your arm on when using the machine.

Close cut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off it came very well packaged everything came with it was very easy to put together it comes with an extra Spoonful it's very close cut to where you can cut around your trees that you can't get what a lawn mower is also very easy to get close to sidewalks they make great gifts for birthdays and Father's days and it's also a electric which is really awesome you don't have to worry about the oil and the gas it's very lightweight is not that heavy even a woman can use it which is great product to have around the house it's an excellent value as well as quality it's really awesome tool to have anyone can use this anyone can put it together you can also use it all year round which is great everyone should have one of these in their household this is really great awesome tool

Light and Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great trimmer for small yards! It’s light and I am able to get my yard done in no time. It's important not to use too much string because pulling it out again is tough. Stop, flip the trimmer, and click a button on the spool to slide out additional line. That’s my only complaint. Overall it’s a great product!!
