When I saw I could get a stringless trimmer from the same company that made my sturdy and effective snow blower, I didn't hesitate. It was easy to assemble and easy to use from the beginning. The battery life was more than ample for doing the edging and trim throughout my fairly large yard after mowing. It's lightweight, so not a strain to carry around during use. I anticipate getting a lot of use out of this tool!

I love my sun joe weed eater! It is so easy use and does an excellent job! I am a 64 year old widow and the sun joe does everything I need to keep my lawn neat and trim without the hassle of have to deal with tangled or broken line, running out of fuel or yanking on a rope to start. I simply press a button and I am on the go! When I am finished if its needed I simply plug in the battery to charge and it's ready to go the next time! Sun Joe you are a life saver, we are never to old to enjoy our lawn care with a Sun Joe Weed Eater! Thank you Sun Joe!

High quality-No more strings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time owning a battery operated trimmer as I have always used a trimmer with the strings. Putting together this trimmer was super simple and within a few minutes it was fully assembled. With this set you get the tool, battery and the charger. Once the battery was charged which took under an hour, I was ready to go! This trimmer is impressive! I love that I no longer have to fuss with the strings! This battery operated tool is so much easier to use. The trimmer is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The handle is adjustable and comfortable. The blades are nice and sharp as they easily cut through my weeds and high patches of grass. I have a lot of flowers and plants around my yard so the flower guard definitely comes in handy. This is a trimmer is also an edger which I love! It is two tools in one! It is so easy to convert from trimmer to edger by a simple turn of the head! The edger also works great and gives me a nice straight clean line around my sidewalks and flowerbeds. The battery life is great and it lasts me about an hour before I need to recharge it. I have used this a few times and it continues to work awesome and has held up great. If you are looking for a new trimmer, I definitely recommend this one by Sun Joe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice cordless trimmer. Easy to assemble, just need a screwdriver. There are no strings to load or to get tangled or that need to be tapped to advance. The interchangeable blades are made of nylon and are easy to change out. There are 11 extra blades included that are stored in a handy snap-on carrying case. The 24-volt battery provides plenty of power and is spec’ed to last 50 minutes; certainly long enough to handle a regular size yard. The blade cuts a 10” wide area. The handle is very adjustable both for length and angle. It is also very lightweight at just 2 pounds making it easy for anyone to handle. Highly recommend!

The perfect lawn trimmer!

It's so lightweight that I, a 67 year old lady can tackle my yard with no problem. There's nothing better than not having to stop and fix or add string like you would have to with a typical trimmer. With this Sun Joe trimmer I can finish my entire yard without stopping. That makes my life so much easier. Because it's cordless I can charge it up and work on my yard in no time and so conveniently. This is my new favorite yard tool!!

Stringless lawn trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased this product mainly to perform lawn edging of our front lawn. We have been using string based trimmer for this purpose and I was curious how this one would operate. Product was easy to assemble (even my wife managed) and it comes with two types of trim blades - hard blade and short soft blade - both made out of plastic (see photo 1 and photo 2). Short soft blade wears out quite rapidly even after trimming short grass - it is not really suitable for lawn edging.There is set of replacement soft blades but I expect we could run quickly through them. The hard blade seems to be better suited to edging job - but it also wears out. However, it was good in the edging job - better than our string based trimmer. We have yet to see how frequently we have to replace the hard blade. I think it is very important to disconnect battery whenever you replace one type of the blade for the other.

Sleek, Strong, Powerful... Maybe too powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy set up, battery came charged! Only a couple of items for the set up. Adding the second handle, attaching the blade and inserting the battery and you're ready to go. Its is very powerful, cuts through tall grass and stubborn weeds with less effort and issues than a traditional edger. The only down side is the battery only last 15 min on a full charge. I would definitely recommend this, but maybe send with a second battery.
