Worst Product Ever

Honestly if i could give them 0 Stars I would. The customer service has been great, that I give an absolute 5 star. But the product has been the worst purchase I have ever made. I have had 3 Replacements sent to me (so 4 machines total including the original one) and they all have had issues. First machine has the self propelled feature was faulty and the variable feature was not working. 2nd machine was damaged during shipping due to terrible packaging that SunJoe uses. 3rd Machine was also damaged a bit in shipping and had electrical issues where the self propelled feature would sometimes work and sometimes wouldnt. The mower portion worked fine. And now my most current and 4th machine was finally NOT damaged in shipping but has some serious electrical issues. THe first literal 5 minutes were great. But then as I went to put it away in the garage the self Propelled feature stopped working. During all of this I have only used fully charged batteries and made sure that the Safety key was inserted as well. Even tried different batteries I own. When it finally decided to work, the machine was propelling forward without input from me. I took a video of the machine literally going away from me. I am beyond disappointed in the quality of the equipment being sent to me and the unwillingness to do anything other than "send another one". All the meanwhile I am wasting my time on the phone, packaging up the machine again, and having to drive out with it again to return it. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PURCHASE. Find another mower from greenworks or something that will work better for you.

Very convenient

Very convenient and easy to use. No maintenance and folds up for easy storage. My yard takes about 35 min to mow with it vs 70min with a corded mower and I still have 3/4 of a charge left in the battery when I'm done. Only downside is there must me a loose wire in the "on lever" as I have to make sure the wire harness going to it can't be bent or it won't turn on.

A Great lawn mower!

I have had many mowers in my time, all of which had been gas powered, I am pleasantly surprised at the build quality and running time his unit delivers. I love the simplicity of the start and go without having to make sure I have enough fuel, check the oil, fill the the gas tank prime an engine, pull a cord or wake up my family with the load noise of a combustion 4 stroke engine running. I push a button, pull back a bar and the electric engine purrs quietly in order for me to start cutting my lawn. I took a long time comparing all battery powered mowers and I chose this Sun Joe iONPRO 100V lawn mower. I am very satisfied with the complete package and its performance. What sold me on this system were all the additional lawn and garden tools in this series as well as the Snow Joe snow blower which all utilize the 100Volt battery system. I have purchased the iONPRO 100V BLOWER and TRIMMER, which both are also excellent in their respected requirements. I am trying to decide on which snow blower I should purchase now, either the new 100-Volt iONPRO 24 in. Cordless 2 stage snow blower or the 100-Volt iONPRO 21in Cordless single stage snow blower. I live in Oakville Ontario near the lake and we can get many snow falls over our winters and into early spring, so I would like to be properly prepared. I live on a large property with a 120 foot long driveway. I will write a review on my new Snow Joe snow blower later in the winter season after some usage.

Great Mower in first season

After several cuts of my yard using this mower I think it's a great machine. It does a great job on the yard, cuts even and clean.I use the bagger for pickup and it does a great job.The easy height adjustment lever is great as I do need to make cut adjustments due to scalping concerns on some areas. The fold down handle makes storage of the mower very efficient. There is some learning curve in using the mower self propelled function. If you release the self propelled handle you need to manually continue forward slightly in order to be able to pull the mower backwards to negotiate turns in tight spots. You get used to it. Also I would mention that the battery compartment, therefore the battery, gets super hot when left in the sun. So if you are stopping for a short period to get a drink or take a call I would recommend leaving the unit in a shady spot with the cover blocked open until you start again. One 5 Ahr battery fully charged cuts my entire yard (.25 acres < house footprint) with enough charge left over for some of the neighbors fence overlap. My neighbors are impressed with how quiet the machine is and so am I.
I do scrape the mower underside with a plastic putty knife after every use to remove caked grass and debris and I periodically clean it thoroughly and spray the underside with WD40 to keep it dry and make easy cleanup. I do this as it is a steel deck and I want it to last a long time.
Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of this machine.

Excellent Self Propelled Mower for ALL Skill Level

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, fun to mow with and works right every time.
This comes nearly ready to go from the box, you'll just need to buy the battery and charger.
I love the self propelled power, and the adjustable speed wheel allowing you to use it at any walking speed, over hills, berms and bumps too.
The deck height adjustment is simply lovely, just move the handle up and down and the entire deck raises and lowers.

Gets the job done easy, fast, and clean.

I had a 30" Toro Timemaster and it used gas and oil. The gas would leak out sometimes and I was lucky if it started without some real effort. I decided to go battery powered and bought this 100V lawn mower. I have used it twice and once you get used to it there is no reason to ever go back to gas. This thing starts right up each time and the battery seriously lasts a long time. I think I will be able to mow 3-4 times on one charge, like the entire front and back of my house. I have only mulched so far and it tears through the grass. I do recommend this lawn mower. The only thing I do wish it did was once you engage the forward motion it engaged right away, it takes a few seconds to go, but its ok. I also bought the 100V snow blower.
