At 77 years old, I can finally trim higher hedges without a ladder, especially on an incline. A bit on the heavy side, but works great! I would recommend to anyone.
August 25, 2017 Sunjoe, LLC Re: Electric Hedge Trimmer, model SJH902E I recently purchased the above referenced hedge trimmer. We have several tall hedges and a standard trimmer requires the use of a ladder to reach their tops. Overall, I am very pleased with the features and performance of your trimmer. The swivel head and long reach are very helpful and the ¾ inch cutting capacity means fewer trimming with shears. The one area that could be improved is the location of the shoulder strap. Because the center of gravity is very close to the heavy motor the location of the strap attachment so close to the end of the handle makes it virtually useless for supporting even a part of the weight of the trimmer. It is possible to remove the bracket and attach it a little closer to the motor, but that is still not the optimum location. If a bracket was located near the motor it would allow the user to support a substantial amount of the weight with the strap placed around the shoulder. I have attached a homemade bracket at that location and it works very well. That is especially important when the telescoping handle is fully extended since in that position we have a heavy weight on the far end of the pole and that makes handling the trimmer quite difficult and potentially very dangerous, particularly for older or less physically fit users. Please let me know if you have any recommended solutions.

Nice to be able to reach tops and sides of tall shrubs. Trimmer is heavy so you know your "working" in the yard. Just used it once so am not sure how reliable the trimmer will be after several seasons. I'm happy with it so far.
Works great cuts branches up to 1/2 inch, a little front heavy but even my wife can use it. The high reach is great, no ladder required and it even trims the evergreen trees the wife decorates at Christmas
This trimmer is somewhat heavy, however, it works really good. I use my regular trimmer for up to 7-8', and then switch to this one. If you do that, you can keep this one vertical and it is easy to handle for hedges 12-13' tall. If you use this one out horizontal, that's when it gets heavy.
