Love love this box! Totally Leak Proof, No plastic ( and BPAs) and holds a ton! I'd say it's perfect for little kiddos but especially amazing for the slightly older kiddos! Way better than planet box (which I've had) because this one actually seals the food in each compartment :)

I bought this for my preschooler’s lunches. It seems very nice and I am excited that it’s supposed to keep wet foods contained. The downsides are 1. The latches are too difficult for my child to open and close (so I therefore cannot even use it yet for her lunches) and 2. It’s kind of heavy. The stainless is very nice and hefty (good quality) but heavy lunchboxes are a problem when packing for young children (who are the group most likely to want a bento style lunch).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it but I don't love it and here is why. Its heavy! I mean I'd be ok using it but sending it to school with my 9 year old I can just hear her complain about it haha. I love that its NOT plastic and that it IS leak resistant!

I love everything about this lunch box. My only complaint is that in my case, it hasn’t proven to be ‘top shelf dishwasher safe’. Thankfully customer service was quick to replace it and issue a complementary lunch container too. Can’t wait to get my new products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned quite a few bento boxes before they are leak proof well made and high quality but this one is great as in its stainless steel I generally prefer the same for kids. Its heavier than the regular box and has nice mix of compartments to pack everything the little one needs. Will be buying more

Holds SO much food!

I bought this a couple months ago, but didn’t have occasion to use it until recently. I have the Bentgo Microsteel. At first it looked a little small, but because it’s so deep I was able to cut a sandwich in half and stack the two halves. Then I used silicone cupcake cups to hold grapes and a dip in the same partition as the sandwich. In the other half, I was able to fit celery sticks and a whole apple. It was way more food than my kid needed, but I was shocked that this container so easily accommodated all of it. It stayed shut in her backpack but opened easily. Absolutely obsessed!
