They were almost impossible to get opened. Once I did get them open, it was a little bit easier, but my three-year-old was not able to do it. I returned them. I am a huge fan of all of the plastic snack and lunch boxes which are 100% three year-old friendly

I bought the stainless still lunchbox because I was looking for a safe container to put my children’s food. The lunchbox itself is really cute and I love the bento box situation but, unfortunately the top coat is peeling off, and we have only had the lunchbox’s for less than a month now, even when I hand wash them. For Thai reason I wouldn’t recommend the product

Not dishwasher safe

Bought this in May and used it occasionally, always handwashing afterwards. Now that the school year is in I figured I would use the dishwasher as the lunch kit says “Dishwasher safe” on the back. Well the front sticker has lifted and torn, it looks terrible and now I have a sad little girl.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s hard to open and too heavy . I choose this model because the rubber gasket of the plastic one I bought last year got melted (I don’t know if because of dishwasher or hot food; anyway either of those were supposed to happen) but as mentioned before the metal is too heavy

We bought these for our kids' school lunch, but they're quite heavy and difficult to open. The back hinges move in way that is tricky for a kid to get right and then lid sticks to the body of the lunch box. The flip side is they seem quite sturdy but they're definitely more for teens or adults than elementary age kids.
