Overall great lunchbox

Bought one for each of my three kids and they use them almost daily throughout the school year. It makes packing lunch a breeze and you don’t have to worry about the different parts of the lunch mixing. Great for more involved lunches, but good for the simple sandwich and chips too. Don’t have to waste plastic baggies wrapping each part of the lunch. Good customer service too none of the lunch boxes had a hinge that broke and CS fixed the issue right away.

We bought the Bentgo boxes for back to school season. They make packing lunches easy. Without the need for plastic bags, we can provide several options without creating more waste.

Perfect for school

I never had intentions of purchasing a bentgo box but our school required either brown bag lunch or bentgo lunchbox during camp season. We purchased two and were extremely pleased with them. Less dishes and made packing lunch easier. Not to mention our preschooler was super excited about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this product to my 10 year old for his school lunches. 4 days a week he takes his own lunch. he has been thoroughly content with this product. he likes the compact box which fits nicely in his backpack smaller pockets.the bigger main dish compartment holds his sandwich perfectly. the 2 smaller compartments, he uses them to pack fresh fruit & nuts. the box keeps everything in its own compartment without contaminating the other compartments, which to me is extremely impressive as it is stored in his backpack from the time he gets ready in the morning all through the bus ride and to school where they place all there lunch boxes in a large bin. and still all the food items are in their own designated places.
i really do not have anything negative to say about this product, if i have to be really picky and find something to say, I would say there is no room for a drink container. but other than that the product is made of durable strong plastic. the latches squeeze shut nicely and make an airtight compartment keeping the food fresh. Plus its dishwasher safe

Helpful lunch box and great customer service

Bought our boxes last summer for our 4
Kids. Unfortunately, two of them have thrown away their removable dividers. I contacted bentgo and they made it SUPER easy to send me new ones, and I’m super glad! It would be much harder to use them without the dividers!

Really wanted to love it!

My child likes it, but unfortunately, after less than one year of careful use, the gloss is all scratched up and looking dull and very used, altho it does keep everything in place and does not leak. It also took forever for the silicone inside to lose a very pungent and toxic smell. I am also worried about chemicals leaching, since after contacting bentgo, I was told there are indeed phthalates employed in the process of making the bento box, which was contrary to the description when I bought it. Really wanted to love it, maybe the glass one's will stay nicer longer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
