The bentogo kids chill is good at keeping most of the food cold/cool. If we put something like apple sauce or ranch in one of the compartments it doesn't stay cold and it leaks

Awesome quality... beatiful color and very well made material. The reason i gave it only 3 stars is because for my 4yr old this was too heavy to carry 😪. We had to put away hopefully for next yr.

Disappointed in ice pack

I love the idea of this box with the ice pack. My pre-k daughter used this for the first time and I was quite disappointed that the ice pack didn’t stay cold very long. Our daughter did not want to eat her warm cheese slices with crackers. Luckily the other items didn’t need too much of a chill to them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the Bentgo Kids Chill Lunch Box - it seems to be locked-tight so food does not move from one section to the other while closed. The chill pack works great to keep everything cool until lunch. I appreciate that the compartmentalized tray can be put in the dishwasher, but PLEASE, please make the outer shell dishwasher safe, as well! The inside top of the outer shell is hand-wash only and it gets very messy from all of the foods touching the top/lid. It is very hard/awkward to wash with the hinge and clasp there.
