Custom fit ice pack is a great idea!

The Bentgo Chill has been a wonderful addition to our ever growing Bentgo collection. It keeps items chilled just right for my daughter who doesn’t like certain things at room temperature. The compartments are also sized just right for us as a snack container, fruit/veg/cheese.

I am a pediatric registered dietitian and I absolutely love these boxes. I use them for myself, my husband and my kids (ages 3.5 and 18 months), and always recommend them to my patients. After about 9 months of continued use, the Bentgo Chill did develop mold on the silicone liner and despite multiple attempts to remove it nothing helped. However, I reached out to Bentgo and they replaced it very seamlessly for which I am very grateful.

This is perfect for my kids’ school lunches. I even plan on using them during the summer. We’ll just make them up in the morning and we can eat it during the day when we get hungry. I got one for each kid and myself. Will be easy to just grab it and take it to the park. It’s not super big but I add an almond milk box and a nut bar and then it’s enough food for one person. I really like the freezer trey that keeps the food cold although I still add an ice pack to the lunch box to keep the drinks cold.

They aren’t leakproof at all my daughter has applesauce in hers and by the time it was lunch she couldn’t eat any of her food because it was everywhere. Also they don’t keep things cold for very long.

Easy to clean, easy to close with or without the ice pack inside. My 3 year-old is able to open it by herself. The icepack weighs down the bottom so that the whole thing doesn't flip back when the lid is open. Food compartments are big enough for finger foods and mini sandwiches. I bought multiple trays and prep the lunches at the beginning of the week.
I've even taken it to work for lunch myself, and the food stays cool enough by noon without putting it in the fridge. I do put it in an insulated lunch bag.
