The good and bad

We absolutely love this lunchbox. It’s the perfect size for my elementary school girls. We love that there Is a removable ice pack attached to the lunchbox. We also love that it is dishwasher safe. With that being said it is extremely poorly designed. The latch to open it close The lunchbox CONSISTENCY breaks every six months. We have had to replace the lunchbox maybe 4 times each child. I’m hoping That bentgo creates a better design for the latch, maybe something metal and not plastic . I can’t imagine that this is not occurring with the majority of elementary aged children. I have two girls that I would not call “aggressive”. Its a shame because it’s such a great design else wise.

Love these boxes for my kids lunch! Since they can’t gave hot lunches at school I love that I can do cold lunches and not worry about it getting warm by lunch time.

A nice bento

This is a nice bento box with perfectly sized compartments. I love the fact that it has a removable ice pack tray inside. My only complaint is that there is a large scratch on the surface but I’m not overly concerned since it is on the bottom. A received it as a gift and my daughter loves her new lunch container for school

Perfect Size

This lunchbox is the perfect size for my kids lunches and offers multiple compartments with ample room for my 6-10 year olds. The built in ice pack is a great addition and eliminates extra storage in their lunchbox.

A little leaky

I was so excited to have the ice pack a part of the lunch box & also the great size of the compartments. However, the seal is not as good on this one as the original. Every time I use for yogurt, it leaks. Usually it does stay contained within in outer shell/lunchbox, but leaks from the compartment to the outer edge. I bought two chill boxes & they both leak. I’ve used the original for year & never had this problem, so was disappointed this one didn’t work as well
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for Kindergarten (Keeps Food Chill)

We love that this comes with a chill tray. My daughter started kindergarten this year and it’s important for us that we keep her food at the right temperature. Love how small and compact the lunch boxes are. It’s not heavy and easy to open and close. The design definitely adds a fun touch to lunch.

Bento has been my go to product for my kids lunches for over 7 years. I specifically enjoy this chill feature for cold foods. It’s easy for kids to open and close on their own. The compartments are well proportioned for elementary school children.
