ScanNCut not for the average crafter

The Brother Scan N Cut is not suitable for elderly crafters. There is too much reliance on Apps and online methodology. I tried to use it for a week and returned the product to Brother.

Why a card to activate wi fi

I would have gave it 5 stars but why do we need to buy a card to activate wi fi. It is all ready there. I didn't need to buy a card to activate the wi fi on my cell phone my lap top or any else. I know why to get more money.

love this machine, I do wish I could buy accessories on line. shopping online for accessories, I have trouble making sure I'm getting what I need. I also was surprised at how few designs are in the machine

I like the scan and cut but I am having trouble learning the machine I just wish there was an owners manual to walk you through what to do something that I can read while found whatever stew you have to do, some of the videos that are online go to fast for this grandma to do especially when my computer is in the front room and my scan and cut is in my craft room and by the time I get from the front room to the craft room I have forgotten what was done and how it was done. so a manual would be nice if you have hard coys please let me know how mush they are I will buy one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a crafting machine for a long time to create tshirts, cards, make labels for my classroom...and anything else I wanted!! The Brother ScanNCut SDX85 Cutting Machine with scanner is so perfect for all of these things. It came with one piece of cardstock to create a box for practice and I was so impressed with it. It was very easy to set up and use. I cannot wait to make more things with my daughter!

Outstanding Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited to do my review until after my mother who is a crafting fanatic could try it out with me. As far as cutting the different papers it functioned as well as her other branded machines. But the awesome thing with this machine is the scanning feature which allowed me to draw images freehand and then scan and cut them out on adhesive and iron on papers. This was the seal the deal function that made my mom want one. It's easy to set up, instructions were simple to follow and we were up and running within minutes. This will get a lot of use especially until my mom gets her own, lol. I would highly recommend this machine to all crafters out there that want to add a more personal touch to cards, banners, mugs, etc..

The pros and cons of scan and cut dx

I love that my scan n cut has images stored in the machine, that way I can still operate it without internet. I do wish the cost of the mat's weren't so expensive as it's adhesive doesn't last long.

I didn’t realize how awesome this product would work. I’m still currently in the learning stage but completed the little project box thing that came with it and started on a few other projects. This is now gonna be my go to project when I have downtime’s as I have lots of plans and such to make many of onesies using this easily cut machine! Thanks brother for the opportunity to try such a great machine!
