Bringing ideas to life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself to have many crafty ideas, but typically do not have the materials to make them come to life. The ScanNCut DX is incredible for making these ideas into reality! Out of the box, I read all the material top to bottom. I found the ‘quick start guide’ to be the most helpful in getting to know the machine to begin creating items. There are a few instructions that are imperative to smooth operating, so be sure to read before operating. A project paper came with the machine for learning the process to use it; it’s a super cute little paper gift box! That little project inspired me so much and I can’t wait to try all the other projects and designs that are possible with the the Brother ScanNCut Dx! I’ve already purchased additional craft/vinyl paper to create more projects and also purchased a few additional tools for using with the machine. Since then, I’ve made some lettering vinyl and am so excited to make more vinyl creations, this machine is a gem!

It is an amazing machine use for so many different things to cut out. I do wish there was an app for apple so I could move around it without needing a computer to use but using it on my web browser works too! Don’t think too much about if it’s worth the money. I promise you will fall in love with it instantly like I have!

I made the first project, the little paper box. I was fascinated watching it cut the shape. My grandson was also fascinated when I let him pick a pattern and have it cut out of card stock for him. I have cut a few things out of felt also. Next I want to try to make an appliqué out of fabric for a sewing project. I just have to experiment with different fabrics. I can’t wait to try out all the features of this machine.

When I first open the product there was some card stock in there for me to create some thing so I can get a feel for how the machine worked. After that I just cited to get some final to try to make some stickers that people can put on cups are on the back of their vehicle if they wished. It is easy to use and easy to figure out.
