It's pretty light which is better than expected, but it's also not as heavy/substantial. It arrived with a dent. I hope that's not why it was on year end sale. Not thrilled with the dent, but I'll deal with it. Not worth having to deal with a return during the pandemic.

I swear by this company and their products. This bottle is solid construction with easy-to-deal-with twist on and off cap that you can't lose. Keeps hot liquids hot for approx 5-6 hrs and warm at 7-10hrs (be aware, thermal dissipating actually happens so expecting it to stay hit for days won't happen) . It keeps cold liquids cold for longer depending on outside temps. But it will stay cold at least 6-8 hrs.

My favorite bottle!

I needed to increase my water intake and wasn’t loving any of my bottles, so I googled “best water bottles”, and Takeya had great reviews. I purchased the 22oz and it is BY FAR the best I’ve ever had! First off, I love how the screw-off cap is attached and the design makes it so you don’t have to hold it down with your fingers while drinking - it stays put. I love the wide opening for easy cleaning, and I love how it fits in my cup holder. Finally, the carrying loop is a great shape and makes carrying easy. Overall, I’m in love...and if I wasn’t trying to cut down on kitchen clutter, I would buy at least one more. Maybe someday ;)

I bought three, 18oz bottles for the family. We really like the spout lid and they do a good job of keeping our drinks cold. We’ll see how well they do this summer in AZ.
