I purchased it based on sizing. It fit perfectly onto my 32oz trail series bottle from hydro flask. The reason I didn't use a takeya bottle was the bottle specifically need to fit in my lowbrow customs fuel reserve bottle carrier. I searched a lot of different bottles and the trail series was the perfect fit. So far the bumper works well around the house. I haven't had the opportunity to try it out for what it was purchased for, the all day ride on the motorcycle as I still have snow Will definitely purchase another bumper if I purchase another bottle

The rubber cover for the bottom really keeps this from tipping over - something I had a big problem with with my last steel bottle. Beyond that, it's easy to hold (even in the 40 oz version) and really easy to drink from. I use the flip lid with the straw. No indication of leaks so far! Glad I got this one.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new water bottle (thermos). Exactly what I was looking for. Something to keep me drinking enough water throughout the day. I easily drink 64 oz. of water daily now because my Takeya keeps the water cold! I've told many of my friends how great it is. Even someone I didn't know who saw me with the Takeya said she had TWO and loves them too!

I bought one for me and one for my boyfriend after hearing good things. It's very convenient size, fits in the side pocket on my backpack, and I appreciate that it is easy to open and drink from but doesn't spill or leak. I also like that it's easy to clean, no tiny nooks and crannies like I've had issues with in the past.

I bought this for my first Takeya 18 oz bottle, which I bought at a retail store. It didn’t come with a bumper. I found out about them later when I purchased bottles directly from Takaya. I wanted this bumper specifically because I have arthritis in my hands, and having the bumper improves my grip when I need to open & close the bottle. So, my “first” bottle now looks like all the others I’ve purchased, either for myself or as gifts (and I no longer have to carry a rubber jar opener with me when I use this bottle!).

My only complaint about this bottle is it doesn’t fit in any cup holder. But it’s also 32 oz so I wouldn’t expect it to really. Love this bottle, super easy to open/close even with just one hand. Keeps the temperature for hours. Warm and cold. I have 2 of these and I’ll be purchasing more soon.
