A lot of people review how well a bottle keeps drinks cold or hot. I’m pleased to report that this bottle can be used to keep water at a warm but baby-safe temperature for hours, making overnight cleanup a cinch!

I have a couple of the "big name" water bottles, but their caps have always been kind of clunky. Takeya's cap stays tight, in place, and is easy to use (and clean)! I love the rubber protector at the base, and it really does keep drinks cold for a day or more. I'm so glad I bought this.

The overall design of this bottle is great, but I have a free promotional cup that keeps things colder than this bottle does. It does keep things colder than if there they were just in a plastic bottle, but the 24 hr thing is a definite overstatement and ice still melts in them as well. The handle is nice and I like the way the cap screws down over the part you drink out of, so I'm never putting my mouth on a dirty bottle when I carry it in my kayak. This bottle would be a 10 if it kept things colder, but since that's the whole purpose I think three stars is pretty generous.
