It technically does the job but..

It technically does the job done and I love the lid design, but after extensive use and compare it with other brands, it consistently perform worse with insulation. And the comparative graphic in the FAQ said it fitted ALL car cup holder. We have a Toyota Corolla 2005 & a Daihatsu Terios 2008 and it didn't fit neither. It didn't full fill all its promises of been "the best". I dont regret it, it's the only insulated bottle with this lid design which I was looking for, but I don't love it either for the reasons above.

Seriously the best water bottle I've ever owned. I have a cabinet full of water bottles I've bought or been gifted over the years but they all drove me crazy in some small way. The Takeya seriously solves all of the problems - insulated, easy spout to drink out of without dealing with keeping a straw clean, removable rubber bottom so it doesn't clank every time I put it down, and easy to carry with the little handle, not to mention pretty looking! Now wanting to discard that water bottle cabinet.

This is the best water bottle I have ever had. It does not leak and has a nice finish on the bottle. The bottle has not sweat even in humid weather. The water stays cold for the day when I have kept it at work.

I like the physical look of the bottle, but it doesn’t keep my drink as cold as described. The ice melts very fast and the water stays cool for a couple hours, but not enough to get me through my shift. I would not buy again.
