This water bottle is better than a thermos. Ice will last for more than 24 hrs. I bought my husband the 40oz and he loves it. I have the 24 oz because it fits my cup holder and I commute a lot. Excellent product. I won't use any other water bottle.

I've had one before but needed to replace it after I accidentally let mold grow inside it because I forgot it wasn't just water inside it and left it in my truck. But it is well worth the money.

Love my new 40oz TAKEYA water bottle. My water has been cold through out the night and well into the next day.. Nice and cold, usually my old bottle the water was hot b4 the night end. Way 2go TAKEYAUSA!!

Thoughtful Details

I won a free 24oz Actives Insulated Water Bottle from the Takeya website on National Hydration Day, and the bottle is really nice, with some very thoughtful details. Clearly these people actually use their product. The metal pin in the handle hinge means you won't be left stranded with a cracked handle while carrying your bottle around town. The cap hinge has a stiff spot in it so the cap can be pushed all the way back and won't fall back into your face when you're gulping down the last drops of water from your bottle. The rubber bumper makes it quiet to use in meetings at work. The double-walled insulation means you can leave it in your car during the hot summer months while shopping and still have an ice cold refreshment when you get back to your car. My only complaint is that I wish the spout was just a bit bigger for when I want to really chug some water. The Camelbak Chute is a good example of a bottle with a really good spout. I also really appreciate the little tabs on the gaskets for the spout and the lid that make it so much easier to remove the gaskets for cleaning. Overall, a fantastic bottle with just the right details designed in. You can certainly find cheaper bottles but it's those details that will keep you from having to buy another bottle in a month.

I use many different bottles and this brand is my favorite because of the flip top lid. Other brands sell similar flip top but they all have attached straws. Especially when driving, I prefer my water to flow fast and smooth without bothering with a straw.

I work in the heat.. I fill up my 64oz bottle in the morning and it stays cold all day.
The design is great and I love that I can buy the lids separate down the road!
