I have several bottles from takeya and I love them all. My favorite is the stainless steel or steel color. The bottles are easy to hold and will not slip out of your hand. The colored bottles can be slippery . If your hands are wet I prefer the steel color it does not slip. The color of the steel is beautiful with the dark gray top and bump. The size of the bottle is perfect. Not to heavy. I use the 32oz for water only and my 24oz I use for coffee and tea.I have 2 of each and will buy another 32oz steel color in the very near future. The bottles preform as advertised. I use the 32oz full of ice and water on my night table. These bottles have helped me keep track of my water intake. The carrying handle is great because it makes the bottle very easy to carry. My only problem is my 64oz bottle. I wish the carrying handle was a bit stronger and the bottle be taller rather than wider . The pour spout is great . I can chug my water with no problem because the spout top is easily moved out of the way. The spout gives you the option to drink directly or you can pour into another container. The coffee is so hot after 6 hours be careful you don't burn yourself. I have to leave the spout open so the coffee or my tea will cool off so I can drink it. That is why I sometimes pour my coffee into a cup so i can have coffee, tea, or hot chocolate all day. You can never go wrong with a takeya bottle!

This is my 5th takeya bottle. I had the 14 oz original and red, yellow, tear. I was very disappointed with the two white plastic rings in the cap. The bigger one was so tight and hard. It was so hard to take it out and put it back for cleaning. The small one did not have extra part and was difficult to take it out as well. They are almost like the rings in the original one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This bottle puts any other water bottle I've possessed to shame. The insulation works amazingly well, and the bottle is stupid big so running out of water is almost a surprise. If you're looking for something more lightweight, though, I would recommend the 24 oz. This thing is built like a tank, but for good reason!

This is my third Takeya water bottle. Still use the older ones. One has taken multiple beatings as I am an outdoor person but function has not been effected. Price comparisons to other brands makes these bottles a must have. Purchased the 24 oz as the 40 does not fit in cup holders well. I use the 40's to keep my 24 oz full.
