Nicely designed, but lacking in some respects

I bought this about a month ago and have used it regularly. The spout design is nice. However, my wife has a different brand that actually keeps water cold or coffee hot for longer than 6-12 hours (not 24 hours as advertised), so wishing I got hers instead (Yeti for anyone wondering)

I got the 22oz Actives Insulated Water Bottle with Spout Lid, and could not be happier with it. The silicone sleeve on the bottom the bottle protects the bottle and makes it quiet and safe to put down, but is removable for cleaning or to put the bottle in a narrow holder. The spout lid is a simple design that's easy to clean -- it even has tabs on the silicone seals to make them easier to remove and clean -- and I can be confident that it won't leak. And the handle makes it easy to carry or clip to a bag. It ticks all of the boxes, and I'm delighted with my purchase.

I am so disappointed; I read reviews that said Takeyausa water bottles left no aftertaste even though made of metal. Bought a 2 pack. Sadly, the water has such a strong metallic taste, it is virtually undrinkable to both users, even when ice cold. Back to glass or plastic bottles!
